Fridays, 09.30–10.45 | All Saints Church Hall, Clifton

Join Rhiannon for a weekly mixed ability yoga class which guides you through a series of practices aiming to restore body, mind and breath.

What to Expect

  • Begin with a few minutes of centring to shift your focus inward and prepare for the practice.

  • Simple stretches and flows to connect breath with movement and ease tension to prepare your body, breath and mind for the session ahead.

  • Explore yoga poses with options and props to support injuries, conditions, or different needs, ensuring a safe and accessible practice for all.

  • Practice breathing techniques to calm your mind, deepen your breath, and enhance focus.

  • Enjoy guided moments of rest to release tension and reset both body and mind.

  • All classes end with yoga nidra, a deeply relaxing meditation usually practiced lying down, designed to leave you feeling restored, rejuvenated and at peace.

Rhiannon strives to create a supportive environment where you can practice yoga in a way that suits you. Classes are taught with a focus on modifying up, offering variations and encouraging you to listen to your body so that you can choose what works.

If you have any questions or need more information about the classes, please feel free to reach out for a chat to help you decide if the class is the right fit for you.

Contact Rhiannon
  • Yes, classes are tailored to all levels, including complete beginners. If you are thinking about trying yoga for the first time, you are very welcome to join.

  • If it’s your first class, you’re welcome to borrow a mat and props before deciding whether to invest in your own equipment.

    Otherwise, please bring along:

    • A yoga mat

    • Yoga props you might want to use, such as blocks, bricks, a bolster, or a strap (a dressing gown belt works well too!)

    • Optional: A blanket for extra padding or cosiness during relaxation

    • Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement

    • A bottle of water

Having your own yoga kit is recommended for hygiene and energetic reasons if you attend classes regularly. However, if purchasing your own equipment isn’t possible for any reason, I’m happy to discuss options for a longer-term arrangement.

  • It is important that the classes are accessible and inclusive. If you have access requirements, for example a health condition, injury, hearing problem or preferred communication style, I am committed to working with you and will do what I can to accommodate any access requests. If you have any questions about accessibility, please feel welcome to contact me to discuss further.

Practices are taught by ‘modifying up’ so you can choose the option that feels suitable for you. Everything is invitational.

You can find detailed access information about our venue on the All Saints Church Hall AccessAble page ↗.

  • Booking is essential, please book directly by emailing me at rhiannon@the-rest-is.yoga. I will respond to confirm your booking. Payment must be made by 24 hours before class. The cancellation policy is available.

If you can no longer attend a class, please let me know no less than 24 hours before.

Before the session, you’ll be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire online via a link to Google Forms. If it is not possible to submit this online you can complete a paper copy at your first class. You are free to decide what, and how much, information you share, but please note the disclaimer – you are responsible for your own health if you do not disclose.

  • Weekly classes are £12 pay as you go.

You can pay via bank transfer in advance. Payment details will be emailed to you after booking.

If cost is a concern, please don’t let that deter you from practicing yoga. I’m happy to discuss flexible payment options such as a concession or alternative arrangements to ensure classes remain accessible to everyone. Feel free to reach out, and we can work something out together.

  • Of course! If you’re unsure about attending, please don’t hesitate to reach out by emailing me. I’m happy to answer your questions via email or arrange a phone chat to discuss further.

Every yoga teacher and class is unique, and it’s important to find the right fit for you. If my classes don’t feel like the right match, don’t be discouraged—it might just mean exploring a different style or teacher to find what works best for you.
